Hi everyone! My name is Aliyah, I'm 27 years old and I am a graduate from LCC. I earned my Associate degree in Early Childhood Education! I have a passion for working with kids and helping them grow, and I'm hoping I can find more opportunities for me to work with kids. I was previously an Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist with children, which meant I would provide therapy for children on the Autism spectrum with day to day behavioral and social delays. Working for CARD, I learned so much about my love for working with kids, and how exciting their development is. I have about one year experience nannying for a family with two kids ages 4 and 7, as well as occasional babysitting for kids ages 2-6, and periodic childcare in a church context. I worked with infants and then I’m going to one to two year old from there. I became a teacher in a preschool classroom working with 2 to 4-year-olds and now I’m a preschool teacher at a different daycare preschool working with two to five year-old.
