I am currently a freshman at Western Oregon University and I am majoring in elementary education. I have had experience working with kids in a center and in a montessori school along with summer nannying, for the past 4 years. In this time I got the chance to work with kids ranging from six months to nine years. I adore kids and every moment spent with them is special in its own way.

I babysat as a teenager, but I consider my child care experience not only from being a mom, but my ten years as a very involved Waldorf School parent. Which is a wholistic, art based education with a hands on emphasis. It's a wonderful background to have. I am an articulate, lively, active person who loves to go outside and play. I was the fun mom that everyone wanted to ride with on outings. I love handwork and music and good quality local organic food. I love well behaved pets and I have two horses of my own. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but kids love me because I'm active and I'm interested in a lot of different things. I'm not a super big tv person myself but I don't mind kids having their favorite shows, but on my watch it's not going to just be all tv. On top of that I'm a solid dish washing, floor sweeping, trash taker outer. I like things picked up and no grown ups ever argue with that. I'm currently studying Spanish on the side and I absolutely love sharing that with the little ones who pick it up so quickly.
