My name is Jintana Mootz, and I have been working with children for over 7 years. I am passionate about creating a safe and nurturing learning environment. I grew up in Thailand and have always loved being around children. When I was in high school, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in early childhood education. After high school, I attended Mae Fah Luang University in Thailand where I earned a teaching degree in Chinese Language. After college, I joined the au pair program and came to the United States in 2017. Under my J-1 VISA, I worked as a live-in caregiver in MD for two years. Residing with an Asian- American family, that experience greatly enhanced my skills in child development and learning. After completing the au pair program, I decided to stay in the United States and began the legal immigration process. Having an established relationship with a professional family, I transitioned to work for them as a full-time nanny and gained experience by working part-time with the children of other local families to supplement my growth. During that time, I gained experience working with children ranging in age from infants to preschoolers. I love my job, and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children every day.
