Howdy! My childcare career began about twelve years ago as a weekly volunteer and eventually as lead teacher at my church in San Antonio, Texas. It was there I met families that would become my very first clients. As time went by, my business grew fruitfully! I also began substitute teaching at ECC and elementary schools, including in special needs classrooms. In 2019, I returned to school to complete my bachelor’s degree in accounting. At this time, I babysat only for my most well established families, a few of which are my references. After graduating in December 2021, I moved to Austin for my first full-time accounting position. After a year however, a company-wide RIF impacted my position, which allowed me to think boldly about my next steps.
