I retired early to enjoy being a grandma after raising five children as a single parent. Now I have nine grandchildren with another on the way. I babysit my grandchildren as needed from newborn to eight years old. Each gets special attention based on their personalities and learning styles. My youngest kids are twenty nine year old twins, so life was busy when they were younger. They all went to co-op preschools and I was able to take ECE classes at the local community college as well. All five are now grown and successful. Hi families, I’m a graduated nurse from Brazil, just finished my Au Pair program in US, I was an Au Pair for 2 years. I’m vaccinated, CPR and first aid certified. I also took Nursing Assistant classes here in US. I also provide mom’s helper (laundry, dishes, organizing, chopping vegetables etc), pet care and house sitting, besides childcare (separate rate). I’m an experienced driver (9+ years and clean record), love pets and 100% comfortable with any of them. Open to add cook if needed and light cleaning for additional cost. I’m currently available all for part time gigs or 1 full day a week. Open to negotiate full time gigs.

The last three summers I’ve been a camp counselor in Arizona and loved it! My favorite days at camp were swim days, I used to be a swimmer and the pool was fun for the kids. From this experience, I learned a lot more from my campers than I expected to. For instance, on a trampoline field trip, a bunch of my campers taught me to front flip (I didn’t have much say in the matter but I’m still glad they encouraged me) I am first aid/CPR certified as well and have experience with children who have disabilities. I have a sister with a disability (CDLS) and grew up helping take care of her. In Arizona I received article 9 training and have a finger print card. I currently go to college in California and am working towards being a nurse practitioner.

I live in Bothell and have been in the Seattle area as preschool teacher and nanny for over five years. I have babysat over a dozen kids from all ages (two months old to twelve years old) I have worked with a different types of kids, including some with disabilities: autism, down syndrome, ADD, ext. I have no problem with potty training, meal preparation, cleaning after the little ones and light housework. I love working with kids and was taught by mother to always have a child properly taken care of and to always have them entertained. I am a non smoker, responsible, good driver, CPR and first aid certified, and have a very clean background check.
