Hi there! My name is Carla Virginia. I'm 31 and from Argentina. I'm a creative, proactive, energetic and outdoorsy bilingual (spanish is my fist language) teacher and nanny with +9 years of experience around kids in different positions such as summer camp assistant, nanny, au pair, teacher and tutor. I enjoy engaging kids in creative, imaginative both outdoor and indoor activities seeking to help them improve and develop their different skills. I speak Spanish and English fluently and enjoy teaching Spanish to the kids I look after. I also know Argentinian and basic American sign language that I use daily with my kids as well (Only if we agreed on first) I am a pet and nature lover, and non-smoker/ vaping. I am fully vaccinated against Covid. A little bit about my experience: In Argentina, I worked as a teacher for kindergarten and elementary levels for 3 years, tutor of English for at least 8 years with kids and also adults, Summer Camp assistant for 2 summers and as a nanny for around 5 years with kids 3 months old to 11 years. In the US, I worked as an au pair for over 2.5 years and as a nanny for almost 2 years. As an Au Pair, I lived and partnered with 2 amazing families. With the first family, I looked after a 3yo girl and a 6yo boy for almost 1.5 years. With the second family, I looked after 2 of the cutest little guys; a sweet and happy 11 months old and an energetic and loving 3,5yo toddler for over 1.5 years whom I still work with regularly. As a nanny, I work full time with a wonderful 1 yo girl for 21 months and several families for the regular date nights and weekends. I am baby and child CPR, First Aid's and AED certified by the Red Cross.

Carla is wonderful with my kids and they always look forward to seeing her. She was even able to get my fussy little one to sleep without me, which rarely happens. We will absolutely continue to reach out to her when we are in need of a sitter.

We absolutely love Adriana, and our child (almost 2yr old) adores her. She is incredibly attentive, caring and always comes prepared with fun, engaging activities like playdough, coloring books, sticker books, Spanish flashcards, bubbles etc. She takes him to the park and is proactive in supporting his feeding therapy, which we truly appreciate. She is loving, polite, flexible, and consistently goes above and beyond.

Howdy! 2026 update: I am now accepting new families to expand my list of regulars, as well as provide one-time childcare for visiting families. Feel free to reach out! My childcare career began about 13 years ago as a weekly volunteer and eventually as lead teacher at my church in San Antonio, Texas. It was there I met families that would become my very first clients. As time went by, my business grew fruitfully! I also began substitute teaching at ECC and elementary schools, including in special needs classrooms. - 13 years of childcare experience as a sitter, “manny,” tutor, substitute teacher, and volunteer - Experience caring for all ages, multiples, in-home and on outings - Experience in homes and classrooms of children with special needs - Flexible childcare style to be consistent with your family’s methods - Welcoming and open-minded to all family types and beliefs - Energetic and positive attitude towards learning and play - Safety conscious and always present in the moment - Pet friendly, zero allergies, non-smoker/drugs - CPR and first-aid certified (renewed February 2026) I can provide enhanced background check results from 8/29/23. It is a bit pricey to renew so I've chosen not to. However, I'd gladly submit a new check if a family wishes to purchase one. Same for motor vehicle check (perfect driving record). I’m open to provide transportation for outings using my reliable and spacious SUV. I have an adjustable car seat and booster, or we can use yours. Trips to the park and playgrounds are my favorite! I’m looking forward to chatting with you about your family’s childcare needs. Feel free to send me a message any time!

Thomas is amazing! Super professional and on top of everything. He did wonderfully with our 1 year old (who is quite selective with his caregivers). I particularly love the attention to detail he has to what our little one needs. He really cares about how best to take care of him. He’s very open and transparent with his availabilities and we enjoy working with him for date nights or other things we need coverage.

Hi, my name is Mavis, I graduated from college a couple of years ago and worked as a graphic designer and artist for a while. I recently went back to school for some professional training. I started babysitting 9 years ago, I’ve been giving care to infants, toddlers and older kids. At the same time, I work with kids in age 3-14 as an art teacher. I get along with kids pretty well, and I enjoy my time with them. I am a patient and caring person. I like animals, especially dogs. In my past caregiving experience, I usually make art with kids, play the piano, go on walks to parks, pickup and provide simple meals, singing, dancing, reading books, etc. I am looking forward to meet your family and offer my help!

Mavis is great with our now 11 month old. Our daughter is always excited to see Mavis, she smiles and reaches out for Mavis when she shows up. Mavis has also been great with our dog, who is not a typical "easy" dog. Communication is very important to me, and Mavis has also proven herself to be a great communicator via phone and in person. She also send photos when I am at work, an added bonus for a mama who is missing her baby girl.

I retired early to enjoy being a grandma after raising five children as a single parent. Now I have nine grandchildren with another on the way. I babysit my grandchildren as needed from newborn to eight years old. Each gets special attention based on their personalities and learning styles. My youngest kids are twenty nine year old twins, so life was busy when they were younger. They all went to co-op preschools and I was able to take ECE classes at the local community college as well. All five are now grown and successful. I’m available as a backup sitter, date night sitter, or day sitter in Snohomish, Lake Stevens, Monroe, Marysville, Woodinville, Everett, Granite Falls, and Arlington. I believe children learn through play and spend my time with them doing just that while making sure they are safe, comfortable, and well-cared for. My husband and I enjoy travel, so I’d love to be your backup sitter, last minute substitute, date night sitter, or the one you can call when you just need a break to run errands hands free. My hobbies include caring for my many chickens (and a couple of roosters), playing with and walking my two dogs Porter the chocolate lab and Hank the golden retriever, quilting, gardening, beekeeping, and baking. I’m happy to answer any questions or meet via FaceTime to see if I would be a good fit for your family and look forward to meeting you and your little one/ones.

Aida recently looked after our toddler for date night, and she was an absolute delight! As soon as she came in, our dogs loved her, and our toddler started chatting with her like she'd known her for years :). Aida was wonderful and easy to communicate with and was very patient and positive with our toddler as she had just been potty-trained the week before. Overall we felt very comfortable with her watching our kiddo and we're looking forward to having her over again!

Hello, My name is Sarah, and I am a single mom living in Edmonds with my 16-year-old son. While working in childcare facilities, I have seen first-hand how the children can become unintentionally overlooked due to an overcrowded setting. I know peace-of-mind is necessary when finding a caretaker for your child, and that is something I am willing and wanting to provide.

I’m a dependable, patient, and easygoing dad to a 1-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy, so I understand firsthand how important trust, safety, and consistency are when it comes to childcare. I’m comfortable helping with day-to-day routines like meals, playtime, homework help, bedtime routines, and keeping things tidy while making sure kids stay engaged and cared for. I’m especially good at staying calm under pressure, communicating clearly, and adapting to different personalities and family routines. I know every child is different, and I try to create an environment where kids feel comfortable, supported, and safe. I’m also comfortable around pets, helping with light household tasks if needed, and handling higher-energy kids with patience and structure. My goal is to be someone families can genuinely rely on and feel good about having around their home.

Hi! My name is Kestrel and I'm 31 years old, born and raised in Seattle! I love spending time with little humans and supporting families. When you choose to hire me as your nanny, you're entrusting me not only with your child's safety and wellbeing, but with their childhood; their sense of wonder, their sense of security, their future memories. I strive to build genuine trust and connection and follow their lead whenever possible. I love reading aloud, coloring, making art, listening to music, and playing outside! My educational background is in psychology and communications, and I've taken several courses on child development. I've had several wonderful experiences caring for neurodivergent kids, including nonverbal kids and kids with high support needs. Outside of nannying, I work part-time as a freelance editor and continue to study editing through the University of Washington. I'm bilingual (English and Brazilian Portuguese), an animal lover, a dog mom, and a proud auntie to two amazing kids! On my days off, you can find me treasure hunting at thrift stores and flea markets, out to brunch with my family, or enjoying nature.
