Howdy! My childcare career began about twelve years ago as a weekly volunteer and eventually as lead teacher at my church in San Antonio, Texas. It was there I met families that would become my very first clients. As time went by, my business grew fruitfully! I also began substitute teaching at ECC and elementary schools, including in special needs classrooms. In 2019, I returned to school to complete my bachelor’s degree in accounting. At this time, I babysat only for my most well established families, a few of which are my references. After graduating in December 2021, I moved to Austin for my first full-time accounting position. After a year however, a company-wide RIF impacted my position, which allowed me to think boldly about my next steps. I was happily given the opportunity to move here to the PNW to experience a whole new environment. I absolutely love the sprawling natural features that surround me! My new accounting position is full-time, but I've opened my schedule for weekday evening and weekend childcare to supplement my income. I’m open to provide transportation for outings using my newly purchased SUV. I have an adjustable carseat and booster, or we can use yours. Trips to the park and playgrounds are my favorite! I have experience with asthma, diabetes, and low/medium support needs ASD. I have watched after twins - including a pair of premature girls, triplets, and older siblings with infants. I am good at reading books to kids and enjoy singing children's songs and rhymes with them. I am great at telling time-tested and children-proved stories. I am good at teaching and making art and craft projects. Also able to handle making healthy kids meals and cleaning after kids with ease. Since the past years to date I have been working part time and occasionally for families with kids ranging from 0 months to 12 years old. I have experience with baby and toddler care. Hello! I'm a sitter with a passion for children. I have always loved playing with, teaching and caring for young kids. I am just weeks away from receiving my AAS degree in early childhood education. Much of my experience lies in infant and young toddler hood but I have experience with all ages, as a sitter, nanny and a tutor.

I retired early to enjoy being a grandma after raising five children as a single parent. Now I have nine grandchildren with another on the way. I babysit my grandchildren as needed from newborn to eight years old. Each gets special attention based on their personalities and learning styles. My youngest kids are twenty nine year old twins, so life was busy when they were younger. They all went to co-op preschools and I was able to take ECE classes at the local community college as well. All five are now grown and successful. I’m available as a backup sitter, date night sitter, or day sitter in Snohomish, Lake Stevens, Monroe, Marysville, Woodinville, Everett, Granite Falls, and Arlington.
