Hi there! I am Abby (she/her). I graduated from the University of Washington in June 2024. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education, Communities, and Organizations with Disability Studies and American Indian Studies minors. I have been caring for children for 6 years as a babysitter and as the oldest sibling, as well as supervising children in summer camp and school settings. My babysitting experience ranges in ages from infant to twelve. From September 2023 to May 2024 I held an internship as a substitute paraprofessional in the Seattle Public School system, regularly working at Concord International Elementary School. Nothing makes me happier than reading, doing crafts, playing games/puzzles and being outside! My number one focus is keeping the children happy but most importantly safe. I got to be a nanny for two adorable girls, Every time I see them , they say I’m the best baby sister they ever had . I just really enjoy infants, babies, toddlers , preschoolers , Elementary schoolers, time with them I drop everything giving them loving , attentive care, making it a memorable experience for them. After a year of college, I traveled to Sri Lanka to live locally and volunteer daily at a Special Needs Orphanage. I then followed an opportunity to Spain to be an Au Pair for a family with a daughter with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy. I had a full time nanny position in Encinitas, CA, from August 2018- August 2019(Ages 4 and 9). I have worked in 3 different Montessori schools since moving to Portland.
