I’ve found that this works best for my family at home while also giving the children I care for a good daily balance of learning, playing, outdoor time, meals, and naps. After more than 25 years, I continue being a nanny because I genuinely enjoy caring for children, teaching them, watching them grow, and becoming close with the families I work with. I recently was a full time nanny for the sweetest little guy he was 10 mos when I started then at 13months he had a baby sister. I did care for both at times and a lot of overtime’s when needed. Darla’s Bio I am originally from Laguna Beach, California! I have 3 brothers and have always been surrounded by kids! I attended college in Eugene, OR to pursue an Early Childhood Development degree. After a year of college, I traveled to Sri Lanka to live locally and volunteer daily at a Special Needs Orphanage. I then followed an opportunity to Spain to be an Au Pair for a family with a daughter with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy.
