I am recently looking for a morning drop off position, an afternoon part time position and/or an all day position for Fridays. I recent had to step down from my full time work at Children’s Home Society to focus on my internship as a therapist during the day. I have over five years of professional childcare experience working as a lead teacher for infants and toddlers for four years and working as a nanny for a year. I have babysat for many families for over a decade and have been with Sittercity since 2016. I have experience transporting children both in car and in small buses. I am CPR/ First Aid trained (recently renewed), I have a large amount of knowledge about child development, I’m fully vaccinated including recently getting the flu shot and soon to be getting a Covid booster per UW requirements. I love kids and hope to become a pediatrician one day! To me, working with children is incredibly fun and exciting—I love to engage their curiosity and sense of play as a babysitter and help them learn how to be respectful and kind as peers at the same time. I have experience working with kids of all ages, particularly between infants to around 11 years old. When babysitting, I typically help kids read books, play lots of games, as well as do arts and crafts in order to stimulate their imagination and creativity.
