Hello! The name is Shannon! I am a current social work grad student at UW, therapist intern and former Early Learning Specialist and Family Educator with Children’s Home Society. I am recently looking for a morning drop off position, an afternoon part time position and/or an all day position for Fridays. I recent had to step down from my full time work at Children’s Home Society to focus on my internship as a therapist during the day. I have over five years of professional childcare experience working as a lead teacher for infants and toddlers for four years and working as a nanny for a year. I have babysat for many families for over a decade and have been with Sittercity since 2016. I have experience transporting children both in car and in small buses. I am CPR/ First Aid trained (recently renewed), I have a large amount of knowledge about child development, I’m fully vaccinated including recently getting the flu shot and soon to be getting a Covid booster per UW requirements. I am currently working in a daycare with children between 1-4 years old. I have also had the opportunity to develop myself in different aspects and areas. I have been babysitting ever since I was 12 years old. I wanted to give back for all the years that I had been taken care of.
