Hello families! My name is Donaisha, but I go by Dee. I am originally born and raised in California, and have been a resident here in Washington for about 5 years now. I am a mother to a beautiful, sweet, smart, funny, outgoing and friendly 6 year old daughter (Kenya). I call her my assistant as she sometimes has to accompany me to jobs I pick up here. She is the reason I began my nanny journey back in 2017. During the past 6 years I have done pretty much every setting when it comes to childcare! Such as, day cares, baby sitting, date nights, overnight care, Montessori teacher, private home educator, learning pods, camp counselor, and tutoring. I am currently working in a daycare with children between 1-4 years old. I have also had the opportunity to develop myself in different aspects and areas. I have had the opportunity to work as a teacher's assistant in summer workshops at Weberbauer School. In this organization, I was responsible for supporting perceptual and motor learning in pre-kindergarten children. I am located in Seattle and can conveniently get to anywhere close by, such as Capitol Hill, but also have a car and can travel farther (Bothell, Redmond, etc.) if needed. I love kids and hope to become a pediatrician one day! To me, working with children is incredibly fun and exciting—I love to engage their curiosity and sense of play as a babysitter and help them learn how to be respectful and kind as peers at the same time. I have experience working with kids of all ages, particularly between infants to around 11 years old. When babysitting, I typically help kids read books, play lots of games, as well as do arts and crafts in order to stimulate their imagination and creativity.
