My name is Sarah, and I am a dependable childcare professional with four years of nanny experience working in long-term positions with families. I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children while helping families maintain a well-organized home. I am comfortable caring for children of various ages, including when they are sick or need additional support. I stay calm in stressful situations, multitask well, and adapt easily to changing schedules and family needs. Along with childcare, I am also comfortable assisting with household management tasks and working around animals. Before nannying, I worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor, which gave me strong knowledge of water safety, emergency awareness, and responsibility. I have been working since I was 15 years old at a recreation center, where I developed a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. I am flexible with scheduling and willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or late nights as needed. I also have multiple strong references available upon request. I truly enjoy building lasting relationships with families and providing dependable, compassionate care. I would love the opportunity to support your family and contribute positively to your home.

Hello Everyone! My name is Karen. I have been a Special Education teacher for 12 years now, 11 years in NYC Department of Education and 1 year in Seattle Public Schools. I have experience working with children of all ages ranging from 6 months to 15 years of age and also range in breadth of experience (babysitter, nanny, tutor, community life skills). I am currently going back to school part time to explore a creative passion of mine, however, I would still love the opportunity to work with children in some capacity! I would describe myself as a very loving person, honest, kind, I am a huge animal lover, passionate about loving our planet, and above all a big kid who likes to be goofy and fun. Please reach out with any questions you may have! Hope to speak with you soon. Warmly, Karen

Karen watched my 1-year-old a few times. My daughter absolutely loved her. She took great care of her and would send me updates throughout the day while I was at work. Karen is very sweet and caring. She communicates very well and is always on time. Unfortunately, my schedule changed, and we no longer have her, but I would absolutely recommend her Karen was wonderful!

Hi there! I recently earned my degree in early childhood education from Skagit & Highline College, and I have been caring for children for 5+ years as a childcare provider. I work with all ages such as newborns, infants, toddlers, preschool, and school age. I love working with young kids as I approach each child as an individual who I get to help grow and teach. I want to be able to provide parents with someone trustworthy to care for their children.

Hi, I'm Cat! With over five years of experience caring for children of all ages, I bring creativity, enthusiasm, and a whole lot of fun to every family I work with. From soothing newborns to helping older kids conquer their schoolwork, I genuinely love every stage of childhood. I have plenty of experience with twins as I previously nannied for a family with twin boys from the time they were 3 until they were 6. My sister also has 7 year old boy/girl twins and being their aunt is genuinely one of my greatest joys in life. By some crazy coincidence, two of my closest friends also have twins that I have babysat plenty of times! I'm also an experienced math tutor, so I can definitely help with homework if needed. I'm dependable, communicative, and treat every home I work in with respect. References are available upon request, and I'd love to connect to find out if I'm the right fit for your family!

Cat took care of our 5 month old full time for 2 months as I transitioned back to work. We are so lucky we found her and my son absolutely adores her!! Cat has been very punctual, keeps us updated and is incredibly caring and frankly gets him to nap better than I can. She has such a fun personality and very trustworthy in our home with our little guy. <3

I have been babysitting ever since I was 12 years old. I wanted to give back for all the years that I had been taken care of. I took a specific course to become a babysitter and started to babysit my neighbors. I had heard about a course specifically for babysitting, so I took it. After that I was good to go to babysit the whole neighborhood. It worked out perfectly while I attended UC Davis. I graduated with two degrees in Dramatic Art and Design, and two minors in Chicano Studies and Education. I love to teach it and create new things. I am also a Spanish native speaker. I was born in a town near Mexico City. I am very interested in teaching kids what I have learned and also try to have fun with them. Every time I babysit I like to teach the kids something new. Currently, I am a pre-K teacher. I am loving, fun, and entertaining to be around. Teaching kiddos is my passion. It’s the beginning of a new beginning in education. Please ask what my availability is for the summer! Gracias

Suzie has been absolutely amazing! In only a couple weeks, she has taught my 16 month old a ton of new sign language and words that he is using regularly! She’s is genuinely excited and eager to play and teach him, and it’s like having our own personal Ms. Rachel. She keeps our LO so entertained and happy that he doesn’t even care if mom or dad leave the room. He became so comfortable with her so quickly, and is excited to see her every time. Even when he was unexpectedly sleeping in later, Suzie offered to help with some home organization until he woke up! She is so very helpful and it is so reassuring to know that my little one is in such great hands. Knowing he is so happy with her helps dissipate that ever lingering mom guilt when I’m away from him. I can’t say enough great things about Suzie.

Hi - I’m Jalyssa and I can’t wait to meet you and your family :) A little bit about me – raised in the Kent area. I love to cook, paint, sing/dance, even though I’m not the best at it lol My friends and family would describe me as outgoing, adventurous and youthful, which is a great trait for working with the little ones !! Ive been a nanny for about a 4yrs and baby sat for as long as I can remember. Children have always been my passion, I’m a nurturer by default and I wouldn’t change that for anything in the world :) I am certified as a Labor Doula with CPR/First Aid certification to compliment. Looking forward to meeting new families!! Thank you :)

I’ve spent years working with kids in all kinds of settings — babysitting babies and toddlers, helping out in kindergartens, and supporting groups of children in different programs. I truly love what I do. Watching kids learn, grow, and discover new things has always been one of my favorite parts of the job. Whether I’m calming a baby, helping with early learning skills, or creating fun activities, working with children is something that brings me so much joy.

We hired Lesley to help take care of our 3 month old infant overnight. She is very good at soothing a baby who only contact sleeps, and quickly adapted to nuances of care. She is very easy to get along with and clearly loves children. We are looking forward to the remaining month and a half of time we need her assistance overnight.

I love being a sitter because it gives me the opportunity to connect with others, whether it’s pets, children, or elderly individuals. There’s something incredibly rewarding about providing care and seeing those I look after feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I enjoy the flexibility of the job, too, as it allows me to balance my time while helping others with their needs. It’s fulfilling to know that I’m offering peace of mind to families or pet owners. have experience in [pet sitting/babysitting/elderly care], where I’ve learned to manage tasks like feeding, administering medications, and providing companionship. Over time, I’ve gained confidence in caring for different individuals, whether it’s keeping pets entertained and active or helping children with their daily routines. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with families on various occasions, which has improved my ability to adapt to different needs and preferences. I have strong communication skills, which help me interact effectively with both the individuals I’m caring for and their families. I’m also trained in first aid and CPR, which I believe is an essential skill for any sitter. I have experience managing schedules and routines, especially with children or pets, and I’m good at keeping everything organized. I’m patient, compassionate, and enjoy being proactive in addressing any challenges that may arise, whether that’s calming an anxious pet or ensuring a child feels safe and secure.
