North Park/Kensington family seeking occasional babysitter for their easy-going 7 month old to start ASAP. Backup care is needed intermittently when child is home from daycare on weekdays from 7am-5pm or for date nights on Fridays + Saturdays from 6pm-10pm. Those applying do not need to be available for all requests, but should understand that there are no guaranteed hours for this position. Large (80lb) friendly lab in the home who may need to be let inside/outside; no other pet care is needed.
Responsibilities include: Bottle feeding, Diaper changing, Driving child (emergencies only), Solid feeding & Stroller walks. Rate is $25 per hour.
Requirements: Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional infant care experience, UTD on CPR certification/willing to renew, authorized to work in the U.S., High School diploma or equivalent, comfortable around large friendly dogs, valid driver’s license + clean driving record + reliable vehicle to transport child (emergencies only)
Schedule: Intermittent care - no guaranteed hours. Typical backup care needs are Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm + Fridays & Saturdays, 6pm-10pm.
