Occasional babysitter needed for a 10 months & 4 year old. Backup Care is primarily for the baby while the older child is in preschool on weekday mornings (7am–11am), with optional afternoon shifts (2pm–8pm) and occasional date nights (6pm–10pm). The family can typically provide 1–2 weeks’ notice before care is needed. Dad will usually be home during care hours. The family also has a small friendly dog in the home who will bark at new people; no pet care is required. Candidates should be comfortable carrying the baby up and down stairs, as the family lives on the third floor. Those applying do not need to be available for all of the family’s requests, but should understand there are no guaranteed hours for this position.
