We're looking to hire immediately for a part-time nanny/family assistant to help with our two boys, ages 10 and 13. During the summer, the position is approximately 12–15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and includes picking the boys up from camp at 3:30 PM, taking them to activities, and dropping them off at either Mom's or Dad's house by 6:30 PM. Once school begins, the schedule will be approximately 20 hours per week and includes working from 6:30–9:00 AM to prepare lunches/snacks, drive the boys to school, followed by a break during the day, then a 5:00 PM school pickup, transportation to extracurricular activities (depending on the day), and drop-off at either Mom's or Dad's house. Both parents' homes, as well as the boys' school and summer camp, are located in the San Fernando Valley, primarily between the Tarzana and Van Nuys areas. We also need someone with a flexible schedule who is available for occasional midday errands and weekend help. The ideal candidate is a safe driver with a reliable vehicle and full insurance, is comfortable around large dogs and cats, and is responsible and punctual.
