MUST HAVE TYPE 1 DIABETES TRAINING
Hello! Our son (age 10) was recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. He currently needs finger pricks for blood glucose testing and needs manual insulin injections using his insulin pens. We will only ever really need a sitter in the evenings and I would leave you with a meal plan for the evening + insulin dosing instructions already calculated. Eventually we will have a glucose monitor and insulin pump, but we're not quite there yet. I'm putting this out there to see who we might find, but I'm not sure when we will feel comfortable leaving him again. I'd like to find someone who can be our regular go-to as needed.
