Hello, we're moving from Germany to DC (Friendship Hights) in May. We are looking for an occasional babysitter for our preschool-aged child, especially for Evenings and Weekends. The start date is flexible, but we hope to begin around 4 May. Our son only speaks a few words of English, so we would like to find a babysitter who is engaging and allows him to playfully soak in the new language. E.g. he loves to pretend-play with stuffed animals - an easy way to engage him. On weekends we would encourage you to take him outside (playgrounds, parks) to have fun. Some basic German would be helpful but not required. We're looking for a reliable, patient, talkative babysitter for the ~next 1.5 years.
