Warm, Patient Babysitter Needed for a 6 year old

Client is a single caregiver seeking a long-term, playful, engaging support person for their 6-year-old. The family lives in Belmont; school pickup is in Lexington. He thrives with someone warm, patient, and ready to play.
CURRENT NEED-
• Weds-Fri, 2:30-4:00, school pick up and home transition
SUMMER NEED-
• Monday 12:00-4:00
• Weds-Fri 2:30-6:30/45
Full weeks with more flexibility in daytime/afternoon hours
June 24-26, 29 + 30
August 3-7, 24-28
August 31-5th
If sitter can stay on through school year, ideal. Family can be flexible for time bound availability and ideal is to make longer term connection.
Optional Hours:
• Occasional evenings/weekends
• Weekend respite (1 overnight/month once rapport is built)
• Light house tasks (groceries, laundry, dishwasher)
• Optional admin help (insurance reimbursements, small tasks)
Ideal Background:
• Special ed/speech
• OT or similar therapeutic experience
• anyone with relevant experience who is warm, playful, and engaging
Requirements
- School-age experience
- Special needs experience
- Sitter has own car
Responsibilities
- Driving the Kids
- Prepare Snacks/Meals
- Light housekeeping
- Light laundry
- Running errands
- Bedtime
