Hi! We are looking to transition to a part-time caregiver after four fantastic years with our full time nanny. We live in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, with our 2nd grade daughter and our PreK son. Our daughter is a social butterfly who loves reading and art. Our son is the life of the party, loves being silly and enjoys games and sports.

We are looking for a babysitter starting the first week of September 2025. School pickup is at 2:30 in Carroll Gardens, and we're looking for someone until ~6:00 PM Monday to Friday. Depending on schedules, we may have some flexibility in the exact times.

Responsibilities include:
- Pick the kids up from school
- Hang out with the kids at the playground, library, our apartment, or doing other activities
- Help the 2nd grader with light homework
- Feed the kids dinner
- On Mondays, bring the kids on the subway to Battery Park where the 2nd grader is in Math class. Hangout with the PreKer at the park, Battery Park library, or doing other activities.

Optional responsibilities (if you're interested in more hours):
- Once or twice a week kids' food prep (cooking chicken & steaming veggies for the kids)
- Care during days off of school

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, enjoys hanging out with elementary-aged kids, is patient and nurturing, is a good communicator with us, and has with experience in childcare.

We usually work from the office in Manhattan, though Amy occasionally works from home.
