Seeking experienced caregiver to work with 11-year-old autistic child. Child is verbal and bright, needs support with executive functioning, emotional regulation, and safety. This position is paid through Medicaid. Candidate must be willing to be fingerprinted and undergo brief (4 hour) training on compliance and safety. Responsibilities include: Picking child up at school in Bensonhurst and accompanying him by subway to home in Sunset Park, Brooklyn (30 min commute), Supervising homework (not tutoring, helping child focus), Accompanying child on subway to activities. Total hours: between 12-18 hours per week, incl some weekends. Must have experience with kids with special needs.
