We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and creative after-school sitter for our daughter, Clarisse, who is 8 years old. Our current sitter is moving abroad at the end of January after working with us for 3 years. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working with children around her age and must be patient, fun, and able to hold boundaries with a lively third-grader. A strong preference will be given to fluent/native French speakers!

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday, 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM (with potential for flexible hours on Fridays)

Location: Pick up at local elementary school and care at our home

Main Duties:
Pick up Clarisse from school and bring her home
Engage in age-appropriate activities, such as playing, reading, helping with homework, and more
Take Clarisse to after-school activities twice a week, the playground, or playdates
Assist with Clarisse's bath and evening routine
Light housekeeping duties, such as laundry for Clarisse’s clothes and toys/bedroom organization
Prepare snacks for Clarisse and help with light meal prep
Help with homework support and enforcing the routine
Flexible availability to occasionally babysit for date nights

Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience with children, particularly those around 8 years old
Native or fluent French speaker preferred
Must be energetic, creative, confident and patient
Able to confidently set boundaries and handle lively, independent kids
Must provide two references upon application
