We are looking for a sitter to take our 10-year-old home from her afterschool program on weekday afternoons. Pickup is in Chelsea at 5:30pm on Mondays and Fridays, and anytime between 4:15 and 5pm on Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays. Home is in Rego Park, Queens. Total travel time is around 45 minutes. We will pay $25 per pickup and cover the subway fare for you (and for her, of course) from school to home.

We are also looking for someone to do the morning trip to school in the other direction (leaving Rego Park at 7:30am to go to Chelsea). It is posted on Sittercity as a separate job. We would be happy to hire one sitter for both if the schedule works out, or to have different people for the morning and the afternoon.

The school year ends on June 26, so this current job is only for a few weeks. However, we might be looking for sitters for the summer and for the next school year in the near future.
