A child-led, low demand approach works best, focusing on connection and safety in relationship. You'll follow his interests, make gentle suggestions based on what he's into, or just vibe out with him over his special interests. In other words: bond and play!

He's PDA autistic. If you're not familiar with PDA, it's a unique profile that basically means most of what you know about autism won't apply. But I would be happy to teach you how to connect best with children with this neurotype!
