We are looking for a reliable, nurturing backup caregiver to support our family when our primary childcare is unavailable (e.g., school closures, nanny sick days, or school holidays).The Details:

The Kids: You’ll be caring for our 2-month-old son (infant experience is a must!) and our 6-year-old daughter.

The Schedule: This is an on-call/occasional position. We are looking for someone who can ideally step in with 24–48 hours' notice for full-day or partial-day coverage.

The Dog: We have a friendly 19-month-old English Bulldog, so please be comfortable around pets! No heavy lifting required for him, just a bit of company.

Responsibilities: Safe infant care (bottles, naps), engaging play for a first-grader, and basic meal prep for the kids.

Requirements & Qualifications

Infant Experience: Must have significant experience caring for newborns/infants (0–6 months), including bottle feeding, sleep safety, and developmental play.

Certifications: Active CPR and First Aid certification (infant and child-specific) is required.

Background Check: Must be willing to undergo a comprehensive background check and provide professional references.

Pet Friendly: Must be comfortable and experienced with dogs; our 19-month-old Bulldog is a big part of the family!

Reliability: Since this is backup care, we value someone who is highly responsive and communicative when we reach out for coverage.

Hourly Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on experience. (We offer a premium rate for the on-call/backup nature of this role and to ensure top-tier care for our infant and daughter).

Payment Method: Weekly via Venmo, Zelle, or cash—whichever you prefer.
