We are looking for a reliable, engaging, and nurturing caregiver for our 1-year-old. We are looking for someone to come to our home approximately 1–2 days per week, with the schedule and hours varying depending on our needs. Some days may be shorter, while occasionally we may need coverage for a longer day of up to 11 hours.

Responsibilities will primarily include caring for our daughter, preparing simple meals and snacks, feeding her, playing with her, and keeping her engaged throughout the day. We would also appreciate help with light household tasks related to her care, such as washing/folding her laundry, cleaning up after meals, and general light tidying.

We have a regular babysitter whom we plan to continue using, but we are looking for someone who can become a dependable backup when she is unavailable, including when her own children are sick. Because of this, reliability and flexibility are very important to us. We are hoping to find someone who is interested in building an ongoing relationship with our family and being someone we can count on when our usual childcare falls through.

Our ideal caregiver is patient, responsible, energetic, and genuinely enjoys spending time with young children. Experience caring for toddlers is preferred.
