Our young adult son is 19 years old and has an intellectual disability. He is verbal and friendly, and loves to chat! Although he is building independent skills, we don't yet feel comfortable leaving him alone. We are looking for occasional care and companionship - someone to hang out with him, play card games, and be available for problem solving or in case an unexpected situation arises. We are looking for someone who is friendly, responsible, and comfortable/experienced dealing with developmental differences.
