Part-Time Mother’s Helper for Two Littles (Ages 2 & 4)
We are a Montessori-inspired family in Centreville seeking a warm, dependable, and engaging mother’s helper for our 4-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter. We value independence, creativity, hands-on learning, and spending as much time outdoors as possible and prefer being screen-free during care. We also have a friendly cat named Frankie. Responsibilities include: * Ensuring children’s safety and well-being at all times. * Engaging in activities, crafts, reading, music, and outdoor exploration. * Preparing simple lunches and snacks. * Light cleanup related to children and their activities. * Supporting daily routines, independence, and practical life skills. * Providing an extra set of hands while mom is present and managing household responsibilities. Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred. Montessori experience and familiarity with gentle parenting is a plus! This is a mother’s helper position, not independent childcare, as mom will remain home during care.
