We're looking for a long-term babysitter for a 7-year-old child who SYNGAP-1, a genetic disorder which includes non-verbal autism and intellectual/developmental delays. Out current babysitter is retiring mid-October; we'd ideally have someone starting then, with regular weekend hours being roughly 10am to 6pm (though we can discuss the specifics). Weekday availability great, not expected. Experience with special needs children is preferred, but a willingness to learn and an empathetic heart is more important. You'll be working as a team with Mom and Dad. This role would also include light meal prep, light housekeeping, and driving (either a parent's car or yours), so a license is required.
