We are in search of two childcare workers to staff our toddler childcare room on Sunday afternoons 3:30p-5:30p and first Fridays of the month 2:30pm-5:15pm (beginning in October) Duties would include setting up and tearing down of classroom, and childcare for up to 10 (approx) children. Parents are just down the hall and are notified in case of a diaper change need, or if a child is in distress.

A church safe child training video is required ( about an hour commitment), as well as occasional meetings with Kids Ministry director. Staff will be compensated for these extra hours.

The ideal applicant for this position would be a warm outgoing presence to children and parents, and have a love for young children. There is no faith based instruction provided in these settings, and being a Christian is not a requirement. The time includes play, story, snack, and songs. There are additional hours needed outside of Sundays throughout the year, for various church wide events during the seasons of Christmas and Easter.
