Mayzin K., Child Care in Elk Grove, CA 95758 with 4 years of paid experience

Hello! My name is Mayzin, and I’m currently applying to medical school. With plenty of free time on my hands, I’m excited to help families with their childcare needs. During my time at UC Berkeley, I gained valuable babysitting experience with families in a variety of situations—whether as part of a semi-long-term arrangement or providing occasional date-night coverage for parents. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer and tennis, exploring my artistic side through piano, and even singing along (though I’ll let the kids decide how good I am at it!). I’d love to share these experiences with your children while doing my best to make your day a little easier. I’m happy to help with tutoring, homework, or even light household tasks. Being flexible and adaptable, I’m here to provide the support you need. I look forward to meeting you and your family! I’m based in the Bay Area, but am often in the Elk Grove region as well. My schedule is flexible and accommodating.

I'm a retired paramedic with a love of children and animals. I have extensive first aid and CPR experience both with children and adults. I provide age appropriate activities, age appropriate book reading, creative and outdoor play, assistance with homework, errands, senior care. I'm very comfortable with animals of all types and sizes. I have a golden retriever puppy named Hunter.I will provide safety care and companionship to your little ones, fuzzy ones until your return with frequent updates/pics if requested. Clear background check and a non-drinker/smoker. I’ve been a nanny to 4 families and babysitting since I was 12. I’m in the process of becoming a foster parent and adoptive parent. I’ve cared for multiple kids of various ages and multiples (twins). I’m very comfortable caring for infants and am able to get the toughest babies to go to sleep without letting them just scream it out. If you have a tough baby and need help I’ll be more than happy to teach you how I do it. I'm a retired paramedic with a love of children and animals. Weather permitting we take nature walks outside either in the park or just the backyard to discover all the wonderful things that are on your child’s level. I like for kids to use all of their 5 sense. Helping me make cookies or prepare their snack and try things with parents permission. I want to be another safe person in your bubble as your child experiences and explores their surroundings. Being a paramedic I’m very safety conscious. Your child would always be my first concern.

I am pleased to share my review of our nanny, Tiffaney, who has been an essential part of our family for the past many months. From day one, she worked to connect with my toddler, ensuring that he feels safe, loved, and engaged throughout their time together. Most days, she would either take him to the park, which he absolutely loved, or run errands and spend quality time at home. I appreciated her creativity in finding new and exciting activities to keep him entertained and stimulated. Whether it was exploring the playground or reading books, she always found ways to spend meaningful time with him. Reliability and trustworthiness are two qualities that we required in our nanny, and Tiffaney consistently exceeded my expectations in both areas. I could always count on her to be prepared for whatever the day had in store and be flexible. Her background as a paramedic gave me peace of mind that she can handle whatever crisis may occur and prevent my son from being in any danger. I felt secure that my son was in such capable hands while I was unable to be with him. I wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a nurturing and dependable caregiver. Her dedication and love for children are evident, and I am grateful for the positive influence she has had on my son during this crucial year of his growth.

Katherina O., Child Care in Elk Grove, CA 95758 with 10 years of paid experience

Hello, my name is Katherina Oleynichenko. I finished Sacramento City College studying Early Childhood Education and finished Sacramento State University this past semester Spring 2025 in Child Development with a minor in Deaf studies. In my professional experience, I have babysat toddlers through kindergarten-aged children at my church on Thursday night every other week for the past two years. My goal was to make sure all the children would play nice, eat and enjoy their snacks, and leave the center with a smile on their faces. At my church, I also participated as a lead counselor and supervisor of children in a program called Vacation Bible School which occurs every summer as a day camp for children ages 4-10. Through Vacation Bible school, I not only supervised children but made sure all were happy, entertained, and fed, as we also had snacks throughout the day and you know what happens when a child does not eat, they are cranky. Another professional experience that I am currently a member of is Awana Clubs, which is ages from 4-6 and 7-12. I volunteer as the main coordinator and also a crew leader which oversees the children and their behavior. I practice Bible verses with them, participate in sports activities, and share lots of hugs. I also have experience with infants and pre-toddlers. I was the main babysitter for 4 years while my own little brother was growing up and I have learned what it means to have a crucial bedtime/daytime schedule for infants, from nap time to food breaks and how much attention infants and little babies need and crying is their main source of disagreement but should not be their main source of communication and smiling is better. Some skills that I have gained over the years are good time management and patience with children. Children want your undivided attention and unconditional affection and as an adult or babysitter, my goal is to provide that environment while also supporting their growth into future young adults. One of my greatest achievements and growth moments as a student in early childhood development and personal development is being able to think of entertaining activities fast and fun games to play if the child begins to get bored. Being creative is an amazing source of outlet to let children be who they are through painting, coloring, or doing various crafts. I also speak Russian and am proficient in American Sign Language. Looking forward to meeting you and your wonderful family. Thank you!

Katie has helped us summers and after shool as a buddy for our autistic tween. She always showed up with a smile on her face, ready to engage and play with him – sitting on the floor for hours playing LEGOs and trains. He loves to talk, and she was great at having conversations with him, keeping him safe, and helping him stick to his routine. Katie was respectful and treated our home with care. She was always cheerful and had a positive attitude.

Dulce L., Child Care in Elk Grove, CA 95758 with 7 years of paid experience

Hi my name is Dulce but I go by Abi, I have always been drawn to working with children, right out of high school I worked at a preschool, not knowing it was caring after special needs children, although it was a surprise and a learning experience I fell in love with it which then led me to working as a Paraprofessional at a school District for the next 4 yrs. I moved over to Sacramento 9 yrs ago and worked as an ABA for children on the spectrum after that I was fortunate to have found my family I currently nanny for, I have been with them for the past 6 yrs and care after their 3 boys( under 7). Throughout the years I have learned the importance of patience, communication, among others. I’ve been so fortunate to have such a rewarding job and truly would not change it for anything. I have Monday and Wednesdays available as well as the occasional weekends, I look forwards twords meeting your kiddos:)

Abi has been wonderful! She is very responsive and professional in communicating our weekly schedule and has never called out sick. More importantly, she is a caring and thoughtful person who truly loves spending time with our sons. She sings with them, plays, reads stories, and even taught our older one(2.5yrs) how to paint! Like all moms, I choose childcare very carefully, and I trust Abi completely with my kids. It’s clear that she genuinely enjoys being with them: she’s patient, kind, and they absolutely adore her. Our older son often asks if Abi is coming over on her days off! Abi also respects the routines I’ve established, keeping consistent with our baby's (7 months) nap and feeding schedule. When I come home, the house is always clean, which I deeply appreciate. She’s experienced, dependable, and confident with children, and I feel so lucky to have her as part of our family.
