I have been watching children in some fashion since I was 11 years old (26 years). I have been a nanny for a family in the past and it was a great experience. I have watched children from infancy into their teens and have no issues with watching multiple children at the same time. I am very organized and like to keep children occupied with activities with minimal screen time. I have two nieces and a nephew (all siblings) that I have watch since birth and still watch frequently. Their ages vary from 10 months to 7 years old. When I am watching them, I have one child home all day, one child home half days, and the eldest has school all day. This requires being able to keep the day organized and a good routine going.

Even though I am the youngest in my family, I have spent many years helping with my niece. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I work with 3-6 and 7-12 year olds mostly. I grew up helping at camp with at risk kids, I am a success coach with those kids as well. As a success coach I work with kids who aren’t having the best of times. I help them understand why they are upset and how we can work through this to have a better days. I am verified in mental health awareness for children. Running around and having a huge amount of energy is what I expect and love to have fun!

I have been a nanny for a family for about 3 to 4 years now. But they are no longer needing my services since the kiddo is growing up. I also have occasionally babysat for other families too. And I grew up watching my siblings and my family’s kids also. I love spending time with kids, doing crafts, puzzles, etc. I am very patient and enjoy building connections with kids. I am a part-time teacher who lives in the Mid-West during the school year and WILL reside in southern California for the full summer (approximately mid June to early August - there is some flexibility there).. I currently am a co-lead infant teacher at my current job so I have a lot of experience working with infants. I am also CPR + First Aid certified! I have previously worked with toddlers all the way up to school-agers! I’m available on the weekends, and evenings (5pmish). I enjoy meeting new children, and love to experience their growth as they get older. I would call myself pretty patient, strong minded and a hard worker.

I have worked with various ages of children for over 15 years. I love to interact with children and watch them learn through play. There are various ways of interacting with children wether it be through reading stories, playing with toys or simply talking.
