Hello. My name is Laura & I'd love to be considered to care for your precious lil one. Prior to having my own children I enjoyed caring for other children of all ages. My goal in life was to be the best stay-at-home wife/mother I could be. I now have 3 beautiful happy young adults, 35, 33 & 29, one of whom has blessed me with two precious grandsons now 7 & 5. While my kids were young I also cared for other children so I could always be there for mine and help other parents who desired personal care & nurturing that is not always fully received at traditional daycare. When they got older, I began a career in Real Estate but found my true desire was still to care for others. I took a CNA class which afforded me the opportunity to care for the elderly which is also a passion of mine, however, I am not currently certified. I hope you'll choose me to continue my passion to care for your child as if my own. I can provide references for a number of families upon request. I've worked for a family with a child who had many medical issues and needed extra precautions taken for her immune system especially during the height of Covid-19. As part of training to be a CNA, I am aware of and still follow extensive hand washing & other sanitization methods to ensure the safety & health of your child, family and myself. Also, as part of my CNA training I studied CPR but I'm not currently certified but I intend to become certified asap. In addition, I have enjoyed nannying for different cultures & my grandsons are bi-racial so know that your child will be cared for the same as I would my own. When I Nanny for a family they become family to me. A family I was caring for unfortunately had to return their country yet we remain close to this day & still video chat & I'm hoping to accept their offer to visit their country some day & feel honored to have been invited to be a guest in their home. I would prefer to find a more extended opportunity to grow with a family either full time or part-time and/or for "date nights" and as needed as well. I am extremely flexible with my schedule & yours. If necessary, I’m able to travel with a family. I've been vaccinated for Covid & had my boosters, flu & pneumonia shot & other immunizations. I've also had my Tdap as I have cared for many infants & will continue to receive any/all scheduled vaccines & immunizations for the well being of your child & family. I am also a never-smoker.
