Hi! I'm Shannon, a 28 year old who lives in Raleigh and babysits for a living. I have reliable transportation and I'm CPR/ First Aid certified. I have been babysitting since I was 17 professionally. I started watching children with autism at 18 until last year because I became a full time nanny. I'm taking time off from Wake Technical Community college to save up money and figure out exactly which career I would like to pursue. I would love to talk on the phone, meet for coffee, an dome over to meet your family. I'm friendly, respectful, prompt, and tidy. Look forward to hearing from you! Shannon

Shannon has a great personality when it comes to babysitting and our daughter has really developed a liking to her. Shannon has been AWESOME! Should anyone need her services, my husband and I highly recommend her. She is GREAT with children. Her positive attitude is a great attribute to any child she cares for.

Hello! I have over 15 years experience with nannying and have also worked at a daycare and special needs school. I have a passion for caring for children and love to have fun! I use a gentle parenting approach which involves redirecting rather than scolding and listening and valuing children’s opinions/feelings. I am energetic and have experience with children ages newborn to teens. Safety and care for your child is number one but I also do light housework as well (dishes, wipe counters, baby/child laundry, etc). Your child will be lovingly be cared for and entertained with playing outside, doing crafts, swimming, riding bikes, stroller walks, doing sensory activities, dancing, and anything else your child is into! **CPR/AED/First Aid certified through the American Red Cross (infant/child/adult and OSHA compliant), fully vaccinated against Covid/Flu yearly, knows baby sign language, safe and responsible driver (new 2026 vehicle with many safety features), comfortable with pets.**

I had a wonderful experience with Lindsay. Linds took care of my grandson for 2 years. She even did some light housework on her own when my grandson was sleeping. She was punctual, respectful, and very patient with my grandson. She also took the time to teach him a variety of things that he would have to know when he eventually started school. Linds was always very kind and considerate and wonderful with kids of all ages. I would definitely hire her again if I needed a sitter in the future.

I've been caring for children all my life I am the oldest of my mother's children I volunteered throughout high School caring for children at the Durham arts council along in the church talk to children Sunday School, I also taught swim lessons at the YMCA locally and in Charlotte working with age groups from infants to seniors and in between all through high school for over 7 plus years leading into college. I've also worked with children over gymnastics girl scouts and cheerleading. However the most rewarding experience of them all that I have to add to my on going ever increasing FAMILY friendly oriented resume, I'm a mother of three boys ranging from the ages of 2 to 11 years old. There is truly never a dull moment and an adventure of new skills to add to the arsenal being updated everyday. I love children and am pretty good with them as well and they will love me.

Hello! I love watching children of all ages! I can play games all day (including video games), create crafts, and teach children new things. Ever since I was 10, I helped my aunt in her daycare, so I have a lot of experience. My goal during and after each visit is to ensure that children are in a safe, happy, warm environment and that they learned at least one thing from the visit.

My 'Prime Objective' as a Caregiver is nurturing a sense of wonder and curiosity in preschoolers -- and imagination plus reality-based competencies in the over-5s. (While keeping them safe and cared for, of course!) And I really prefer to avoid electronic screens for children! That's why I love to read with children. And bring intriguing books from my collection from classic to modern... Plus I'm always up for outdoor fun! And getting down on the floor and building things. Over years, I've put together a big wooden train collection with a SUITCASE full of tracks, specialty pieces like bridges, tunnels, ramps and connectors, with several battery powered remote controllable locomotives. Children 3-9 can literally spend enthralled HOURS assembling their own creative layouts then running trains. (While naturally enhancing their spatial intelligence, collaboration skills and 'stick-to-it-ness'...) Other options: a set of colorful wood blocks; tea sets (covert etiquette lessons and cookie baking!); princess and knight costumes for feeling special and dress-up play; Nerfball shooters (with eye protection!). An old-fashioned portable record player with classic vintage story records. Art supplies, an easel, squirt guns and sprinkler... For several years, I worked as a private-duty CNA and in-home Caregiver for elderly and disabled people. This type of upscale agency work requires immaculate background checks, excellent health, clean drug tests, reliability and being on time, as well as cheerfulness, compassion and competence. Now, I'm semi-retired, active and healthy, and LOVE interacting with children. In high school, I babysat for most of the kids in our neighborhood, was a paid Girl Scout Day Camp Counselor with full charge of eight 9 year old girls, had Red Cross Lifesaver Swimming Certification, and taught horseback riding. Have First Aid and CPR Certificates and recent college Certificate In Child Development. Have experience with autistic and medically fragile children. A recent review, from an ER nurse: "Just wanted to say thank you again for the great care that Sue gave the boys yesterday. She's so patient and amazing and I like the fact that she's mature and is a grandparent herself. She brought her own books and toys and the boys just had a blast with her. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking care, she definitely is an asset..." Allison RN 💚Miss Sue

Hi! My name is Katelyn, it's a pleasure to meet you. After graduating High school I went on to babysit and nanny for several families. I worked as a nanny for a wonderful family for almost 3 years while attending college. I graduated Alamance Community College with a Degree in Culinary Arts in June 2020 . After working in a professional kitchen for almost 2 years, I realized that my true passion is being involved in the lives of children through nannying, and that I want to make this my full-time career. Having an opportunity to make a difference in a child's life by caring for them is a dream job! I love interacting with children through story time, imaginary play, music, arts, crafts, and outdoor activities! I have 8 total years of experience working with children. I'm also Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and AED certified. In my free time I love to bake and cook, go shopping, stay active by engaging in outdoor activities, and spend time with my family and friends.I look forward to meeting you and your children.
