Hi, I am a Point Park student majoring in Screenwriting & Entrepreneurship. I have my car downtown, so travel is no issue. I will babysit, housesit, petsit, and or clean whatever needs to be cleaned. I am a straight A student, with multiple leadership positions on campus. I work with kids often as I am a camp counselor every summer for at risk, intellectually gifted children, I’ve been a babysitter for years, and (as I’m a former wrestler) I run wrestling clinics for elementary and middle school aged children. I love debate, TV shows, food, wrestling, and public speaking. I founded the happiness/kindness club at my high school, so the people or things you love are safe with me. P.S. I have a 3 hour minimum for jobs, as driving across town doesn't become worth it for less time.

With eight years of experience working and volunteering in multiple settings for children and those with varying needs, I have garnered an appreciation for helping others learn and grow. I am a fun, caring, and patient hard worker. I have experience with preschool, first, and third grade students as a early childhood/special education major. I also worked in a senior living facility for about 1 1/2 years. I have taken care of three cats, but love all animals. My name is Lauren and my passion is nurturing children! I have years of experience teaching children through babysitting as well as working at a daycare over the summer during college. I have experience babysitting for many families with up to 4 children between the ages of newborn to 12 years old. I also worked for a tutoring company while in college, mainly tutoring middle school and high school level math but I am able to tutor and help with homework with elementary school work as well. Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy working with kids and making a positive impact in their lives. I've always known I wanted to work with children. I started working at a children's center in high school and continued throughout college. I have worked as a preschool assistant teacher, a preschool teacher, a substitute teacher, and then a special education teacher all in Pennsylvania in a span of about ten years. I am currently an EC teacher in North Carolina. I enjoy lots of outdoor activities, reading, and crafting.
