Hi everybody! I am a certified math teacher and a boys' basketball coach at a high school in Renton. I attended school at the University of Washington where I obtained my Master's in Teaching in 2020. I've been working with kids for 10 years and have babysat for the past 5 years. I've cared for many families, mostly in date night roles, with kids aged 1 and up. In addition to date nights, I've also helped with weekends/overnights, after school, and full-time babysitting in the summer. Working with kids is something I enjoy doing and is the reason I became a teacher and a coach. I like to spend the time interacting and engaging with the kids. I honestly believe that kids are the greatest gift of life, they need to be loved and to be listened to. Also, they need positive attention to help them grow healthy, spiritually, mentally, and physically. They require an enormous amount of patience -- it pays off in so many ways. I love to work with parents who understand that they need to spend time with their children but who are busy with their professional lives. This is where I work with the parents to come up with a plan so you as a parent can spend the quality time with your children and allow me to manage the day to day activities when you are unable to spend time with them.

Hello families! My name is Daikwan (however, I do go by Ryan). I am currently employed through Bellevue School District working as an educator for 3rd and 4th grade students. My prior experience working with children include working as a TA in a middle and elementary school setting, summer camp/after-school educator, and 2 years of prior nanny/babysitter experience as well. I am a child care teacher, nanny, and now mom to a 16 year old. I work as a school district ECE teacher Sept-June and am doing some Weekend care for extra money. For a number of years I was a nanny in exchange for rent and did after hours care and evening and weekend routines with children 1 years old to age 10, including helping with chores and school work and getting them ready for bed. I enjoy doing cooking, dramatic play, and art with children and I make sure to get them some exercise and quiet time when with them for long stretches of time.

Hi! I'm Cyndie. I'm a mother of 3 boys; they are older now so I have flexibility in work and in play! I have twins that were 9 1/2 weeks premature and a 3 year old at the time soI I definitely know how to juggle children and family responsibilities I enjoy watching kids' sports. My boys played soccer since they were 3 years old, t-ball, baseball, basketball, track & field and football. I was a really active parent. I was Vice President of the PTA, VP of Membership, Chairperson of Family Fun nights and an Art Docent for their classrooms for two years. I also participated in booster clubs to raise money for the sports. I enjoy walking, bike riding, easy/moderate hiking (nothing too crazy!). I belong to the YMCA where I take Zumba, cycling, a weight class, yoga, pilates and cardio/weights. I just recently bought a guitar and I plan on taking lessons. I am very close to my 3 sons so I enjoy doing various things with them. In addition, I have a 13 year old dog, who thinks he's a puppy! In the past, I worked 7 years at the Kent School District, both in the office and as an Instructional Assistant. I worked some with autistic children and children with learning disabilities.
