Hello families! My name is Daikwan (however, I do go by Ryan). I am currently employed through Bellevue School District working as an educator for 3rd and 4th grade students. My prior experience working with children include working as a TA in a middle and elementary school setting, summer camp/after-school educator, and 2 years of prior nanny/babysitter experience as well. I have been in the Seattle area for about 1 year and 3 months currently and I have loved every second of the being in the PNW. Originally from the east coast, I started my chapter in Washington last September to embrace a fresh start, establish and develop new connections, and to work towards completing my last year of nursing school.

I have been babysitting for 15 years, and taught K-2 for 5 years. I am currently working towards my Masters of Education in Guidance and Counseling to be a school counselor. I have been a live-in nanny, mother's helper, and babysitter.  With my teaching certificate, I can tutor and and help with homework. When I babysit kids, I love being creating with our imaginations, art and storytelling. Hi! I'm Cyndie. I'm a mother of 3 boys; they are older now so I have flexibility in work and in play! I have twins that were 9 1/2 weeks premature and a 3 year old at the time soI I definitely know how to juggle children and family responsibilities I enjoy watching kids' sports. My boys played soccer since they were 3 years old, t-ball, baseball, basketball, track & field and football. I was a really active parent. I was Vice President of the PTA, VP of Membership, Chairperson of Family Fun nights and an Art Docent for their classrooms for two years. I also participated in booster clubs to raise money for the sports. I enjoy walking, bike riding, easy/moderate hiking (nothing too crazy!). I belong to the YMCA where I take Zumba, cycling, a weight class, yoga, pilates and cardio/weights. I just recently bought a guitar and I plan on taking lessons. I am very close to my 3 sons so I enjoy doing various things with them. In addition, I have a 13 year old dog, who thinks he's a puppy! In the past, I worked 7 years at the Kent School District, both in the office and as an Instructional Assistant. I worked some with autistic children and children with learning disabilities. Hello! My name is Maya and I currently live in Bellevue. I’m originally from Honolulu, Hawaii but I moved to Washington in 2020 for school, and I graduated from UW in 2024 with my B.S in speech and hearing sciences! I worked at an early childcare center with infants-pre-k children from 2021-2024 and have babysat since 2021. I am currently CPR/First-Aid certified. I currently work as a speech therapist in a pediatric therapy clinic where I provide services to children between the ages of 3-12! I have the amazing opportunity to work very closely and co-treat with occupational therapists and mental health therapists so I have been able to learn some strategies from therm. I am a mother to 3 children ages 12, 15 and 17. My oldest son has Autism Spectrum Disorder with a language impairment. I have worked with children since I was a teenager. About my background: I home-schooled my children leading to their acceptance into Rhode Island School of Design (full scholarship,) Columbia University and Princeton University. Subsequently, I obtained my bachelor's, master's and PhD degrees in political science, the latter degree at the age of 55. Starting in 2017, I made 17 trips around the country to serve as a sitter educator for my granddaughter. After that I was a nanny educator in Austin, Texas, for her brother. Occasionally I managed care and education for both brother and sister, together. We moved to Bellevue Washington in June of 2023 to continue part-time care for the two grandchildren.
