A wonderful family in Oceanside is currently looking for a compassionate and patient caregiver to assist their elderly father. The family is seeking someone who is understanding, calm, and Farsi-speaking, to provide assistance with daily living tasks. Family may be in and out of the house as needed. This is a long-term, ongoing position.

Start Date: January 5
End Date: Ongoing (long-term care need)
Days: Monday- Friday
Hours: Approximately 15-20 hours per week, ideally morning hours (family is flexible)
Rate: $30-$35 hour, depending on experience
Caring for 1 adult: Male, 81

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer medication
Assist with personal hygiene, including on occasion changing adult depends and showering
Light housekeeping: dishes and keep the home tidy and operational
Assist with meal setup and serving (no meal prep or feeding required)
Encourage mobility and provide support when walking with a walker

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
2+ years of experience in adult care, home aide, or related field
CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
Ability to pass a background check and social media screening
Provide two professional care-related references
Male and Farsi-speaking preferred

COMPENSATION: This position pays $30-$35 per hour depending on experience. The family is seeking long-term, part-time help, approximately 15-20 hours per week.
