Hospice care at night/sitting
Posted by Trish R. on 10/17/2025

- $20.00 per hour

My mother is a frail 86 year-old at the end stage of her lung cancer diagnosis. She is on hospice and will not need CPR. Basic first aid might be necessary (such as simple wound care/Band-aid). Currently, she is ok during the day but needs someone to sit with her overnight. She has a nebulizer as needed so someone would need to be open to providing her treatments if she is unable to set it up herself. This will be explained to the sitter. She also will need to take pain medications as needed.
The hours and tasks may increase as she continues to decompensate.
