We are seeking a compassionate individual to serve as a Standby Caregiver for an elderly gentleman who lives independently in his home in Franklin Park. The family provides support but is seeking a backup person to assist when they are unavailable due to illness, travel, or other commitments. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others and can be available on short notice when needed.
Responsibilities
· Serve as backup person for the client when family is unavailable.
· Assist with light household tasks as needed, such as:
o Garbage and recycling barrels.
o Running errands
o Providing transportation

Qualifications
· Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required.
· Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record.
· Dependable and respectful of privacy.
· Must pass background check.
Compensation
· You will receive compensation for maintaining availability even if assistance is not needed during your standby period.
