My elderly father no longer drives and now has several (almost weekly) medical appointments that he needs transportation to and from his home. Most of the appointments are about 2 miles away from his home on the local hospital campus. He is mobile to a certain extent but cannot walk long distances. Appointments usually involve finding a wheelchair within the facility and wheeling him up the elevator to the doctors office in question and then wheeling him back down and leaving the chair in the lobby. He can walk to the vehicle from the lobby if it is pulled up to the door. My 2 other sisters and I have been managing this for a few years but our full-time work schedules (all of us) make it hard to be as available as he needs so we are looking for help.
