We’re looking for a kind, dependable caregiver for our mom, who is returning home after 7 weeks in a care facility (diabetes management + wound care + PT/OT). She’s fairly independent but needs support easing back into daily routines around the house.

This role is about companionship and helping her regain strength—think small wins and steady progress. Tasks may include short walks (building gradually), light household help (laundry, trash, mail), simple lunch prep, and being nearby during showers for safety (no physical assistance needed).

She likes to read, watch movies and do crossword puzzles (and maybe some in-person mahjong wouldn't hurt!)

Occasional daytime rides to doctors appointments may be needed.

We have two cocker spaniels—one very friendly and playful, one shy/protective at first. Must be comfortable with dogs/ "a dog person".

Schedule: ~3 days/week, flexible. Some weekend availability preferred.
