My grandmother is currently in need of a caregiver to assist with her daily activities. She is in the hospital following a fall, but fortunately, no fractures were sustained. She was admitted due to a gastrointestinal bleed caused by an ulcer. She is set to be discharged to her apartment this week, but she currently lacks the strength to walk with her walker. Before her fall, she was able to walk independently with her walker, and we are coordinating with her insurance to arrange a visiting nurse and physical therapy at home to help her regain her strength and mobility. We are looking for a caregiver to provide companionship and assist her with restroom use. She remains continent, alert, and oriented, can communicate her needs, and is independent in managing her medications.
