Hi, I’m a fully functional 38 year old. I’m doing Ketamine Assisted Therapy via prescription lozenge at home with my therapist there via zoom. A requirement is that I have another adult in the home with me during this as the medication may make me feel disoriented. Chaperone will exchange phone numbers with my therapist before meditation and the. They can just hang out at the house. They are there to help in case I were to get sick or need help walking to the bathroom if I needed it and my therapist would let them know as I’ll be talking to her. Medication wears off in an hour or so so looking for help for around 2 hours or so to be safe. Likely other than exchanging numbers I won’t need anything from you other than to be here.
