Seeking home care for my 80-year-old father, a few hours in the morning, and a few hours in the late afternoon. Specific hours are flexible and can be negotiated. He is a leukemia patient who will be discharged from a skilled nursing facility and is too weak to move from the bed to a wheelchair to the living room, bathroom, etc, on his own. He will also require someone willing to help with bathing, dressing, and toileting, as he is not always able to make it to the bathroom in time. Nursing or similar experience is a plus, as he also has an ostomy bag that may require assistance. Other duties may include dispensing medication, picking up prescriptions, or curbside groceries, and light meal preparation and changing of linens.
