Caregiver Support Opportunity – Stroke Recovery Assistance

- $20.00 per hour
We are seeking short-term assistance to support our mom currently in stroke recovery. While she has a dedicated full-time caregiver, her current mobility needs require a second person to assist with daily transitions and physical activity.
Key Responsibilities
Mobility Support: Provide physical assistance (two-person assist) for toileting and transfers.
Activity Assistance: Support the primary caregiver in getting the patient up for prescribed exercises and movement.
Patient Safety: Ensure a safe environment during transitions and physical therapy routines.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience working with seniors is required.
Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with dementia and Alzheimer’s care is highly preferred.
Physical Ability: Must be comfortable and capable of assisting with manual patient transfers and mobility support and being able to assist with lifting patient as necessary.
Duration & Schedule
Initial Term: 2–3 weeks, with the potential for extension based on recovery progress.
