Hi, my dad uses a Rollator and is used to living on one level. He will be staying with us for several months and we have several stairs so he will need guidance on being reminded to step up and down and preference would be to have a hold of his arm as he navigates the floors until he’s familiar with them daily task would be to give him his medication make breakfast and enjoy conversation while getting outside and sitting around the pool or back porch just to keep him up and moving and engaging in conversation. He’s welcome to join you on errands that you need to run. We do have two doodles in the house so preference to someone who is comfortable to be around dogs. We are looking for someone who is comfortable and redirecting conversations for individual showing signs of dementia and not allowing him to do things that could possibly injure him even though he feels he’s still mentally/physically able to do so. Think: “ Grandpa, let me get that for you!”
