Family near Woodbridge High School seeks a part-time caregiver for their 83-year-old father, ASAP. Care is needed Monday-Friday, 1pm to 6pm. Client is introverted & is still adjusting to receiving care, often taking time to warm up to new people. He is showing signs of dementia, & the family is currently awaiting a formal diagnosis. He weighs approximately 100 lbs. & requires assistance with under-the-arm transfers (in/out of bed, to the restroom, etc.). The client values routine & benefits from caregivers who are consistent & patient.

- Schedule: M-F, 1pm-6pm
- Rate: $18/hr

Responsibilities
Hygiene assistance
Wheelchair & bed transfers
Engaging the client in conversation & activities (e.g., Bible study)
Light housekeeping (client’s room, laundry, linens)
Preparing meals (breakfast & lunch)
Encouraging regular eating & hydration
Monitoring vitals
Medication reminders

Requirements
2 years of paid, professional caregiving experience
Physically able to assist with lifting up to 100lbs
