FT Nanny in Huntersville, NC for a 2.5YO boy. Hours are M-F, 9 am to 4pm, with occasional schedule changes. Best nanny is reliable, enthusiastic, progressive thinking, and education-focused. Education or ECE background is a plus as their son will be at homeshooled. Must keep their son on schedule, engage with him in educational activities, and take him outside to explore the world around him. Nanny should be creative in creating fun activities to do with him both inside and outside.
No screen time allowed for their son or the nanny during the day. A plus if the nanny has experience with potty training. Family is a progressive, socially conscious, and Covid cautious family. The family uses natural consequences, no yelling or raising voices, and uses the principles of Dr. Becky when dealing with their son’s occasional big feelings. The family asks that the nanny follow the same philosophies regarding caring for their child and handling big feelings. French fluency is a plus
Nanny and child must wear a mask indoors at all times in public (family will provide masks). Both parents work from home in separate office spaces and respect nanny boundaries.

Job starts June-July, and pay is neg at $25-27 an hour, with Continued pay, Paid major holidays, PTO, and Paid mileage. The nanny should have prior nannying experience, a college degree or equal experience, be CPR and First Aid Certified, and be able to pass a full reference and background check.
