We’re Jenny and Adam on the Upper East Side (76th & 2nd), parents to two easygoing, fun kids: Ben (8.5, starting 3rd grade, loves art, music, science) and Eleanor (6, entering 1st grade, loves crafts and make-believe). Both are well-adjusted and very used to babysitters

We need caring, reliable help for after-school pickup, taking the kids to activities or the playground, engaging them at home, tidying play areas, kids’ laundry, prepping snacks, some cooking or meal prep, helping with bedtime on babysitting nights, and occasional full days during school breaks with advance notice.

Typical hours are weekday afternoons 1–6 or 2–7 (flexible, may not need Mondays). One babysitting evening per week (Thurs, Friday and/or Saturday). Must be open to occasional full days (9–5) during school breaks with advance notice. Option to travel with us 1–2 weeks per year for extra pay.
