Presented by Family Concierge: Lovely NYC family seeking a mother’s helper for their growing family. Care will be for their sweet and silly 3yr old boy, with another baby due Feb. Ideally, this person would provide afternoon care and household support M-F, 6-7hrs/day. Caregiver flexibility is appreciated with schedule and hopes to have care start in January 2026.

Child care duties include school pick up w/ a snack ready, transport to afterschool activities and/or park, possible help with dinner prep/tidying kids room, and most importantly creating fun, engaging activities that aid in enrichment and development to fill his afternoons! Household responsibilities include basic household chores, keeping the apartment clean, and household laundry. Care is primarily for their 3yr old, however as the newborn grows, care duties may include baby as well!

The ideal candidate is energetic, patient, and passionate about childcare and nurturing growth! Their boy is curious and witty and needs someone who can match his energy while maintaining a gentle parenting approach and firm boundaries. Should also be First Aid/CPR cert., fluent in English. Prior teaching experience/certs and Swedish speaking are a huge plus!
