Hi my name is Melanie I’ve been around little kids my whole life. I am the first child in my family which came with many responsibilities like caring and looking out for my baby cousins (girls/ boys), sisters and our family pets( cats/dogs/ hamsters)! Making sure there was always fun and safe activities ahead of us as well as a good snacks/meals. I moved out to LA after graduation where I was a professional nanny for 11 years. I first started working with celebrity families and then had the opportunity to train with special needs children and their families in the behavioral health department at Cedars Sinai Hospital in LA. My husband and I left the city when we started our own family 12 years ago. I have many years experience with families and children with special needs. I am a trained ABA therapist. I like to swim, bike ride, enjoy sports and arts and crafts. I am used to travelling with families and finding ways to occupy and enrich the childrens' hours without using screens, while in a limited environment e.g. hotel room. My undergraduate degree was in Theater and I love to bring that creativity and humor to my work. I have spent many overnights with infants and children.
